CARE INSTRUCTIONS

C L E A N I N G

MICOFIBER CLOTH

Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to remove any surface dust. Microfiber cloths are effective in capturing dust without scratching the acrylic.

CLEANER

Do not use any abrasive or alcohol based cleaners on acrylic, which is highly susceptible to hazing and scratching. We recommend using lens cleaners or mild soapy water. After washing your acrylic pieces, use a microfiber cloth to remove any streaks or water spots.

ANTI-STATIC SPRAY

Consider using an anti-static spray specifically designed for acrylic surfaces. These sprays help reduce static electricity, which can attract dust particles. Follow the instructions on the product and apply it evenly over the acrylic surface. Allow it to dry completely.

LAYERED ACRYLIC

Be cautious when cleaning around layered acrylic. While we securely adhere layered acrylic with double-sided 3M adhesive, small and dainty pieces are still easily susceptible to breaking under pressure. Please handle your signs with care.

H A N D L I N G

Acrylic is a rigid and brittle material. Unlike some other plastics that exhibit more flexibility, acrylic has less ability to bend or absorb impacts without breaking. When exposed to excessive force or stress, such as bending or sudden impacts, acrylic can snap or fracture. It is important to handle your acrylic pieces with care.

ACRYLIC SIGNS

Not all acrylic is built the same. Some sheets are thicker than others. Because of this, we custom fit each base to each acrylic sign. It is important to keep your sign paired with the appropriate base. We try to keep the fit as snug as possible while also allowing for your sign to be disassembled. Do not force signs into base. Doing so may break your sign or base.

The safest way to disassemble your sign would be to push up against the panel from the bottom of the base. Start with one corner and alternate corners until the panel fits loosely into the stand. From here, you can easily remove the sign from the base.

CAKE TOPPERS

Carefully remove your cake topper from its packaging. In order to avoid breaking off any fragile pieces, we recommend placing your hand at the top of the pick where the pick and body of the cake topper meet. Gently insert your cake topper into the middle of your defrosted cake at the desired height. Do not insert cake topper into frozen cake.

WOODEN CAKE TOPPERS

Wood is a natural material that can absorb moisture. In order to reduce exposure, we have included a plastic straw with your wooden cake topper. You will want to insert the pick of your cake topper into the plastic straw before putting it into your cake in order to avoid moisture from being absorbed by your cake topper. Any moisture may damage your cake topper.

S T O R A G E

We recommend keeping your acrylic pieces in their original packaging when not in use. This will reduce any dust and scratches. The corners and edges of acrylic signs are particularly vulnerable to chipping or cracking.

For long term storage, store acrylic in a cool and dry area. Avoid stacking or leaning anything on the acrylic to avoid pressure points and cracking the acrylic.
